50. Europe Bicycle Trip-Day 15--C+ On My First Day As Leader

This morning, Thursday , May 1st, was coffee (and tea ) hour at 10:30 for the caravan folks. My uncle had a skin specialist appointment so they would not come until noon. I worked on blogs and decided to join everyone for my tea. I sat and chatted with Lisbeth whose caravan is behind the one I am in.It was good practise for my Dutch.
These ladies near us were following and enjoying the conversation. They were impressed at my command of the language for how little I have been here.
Morning coffee group
Ome Jan and Tante Betty came at about 11:30 and Tante Betty had planned another route of about 30 km and today I would be the leader and look for the knooppunten. It was a beautiful day!
Colourful tunnel under a road (weg)
I missed this first knooppunte as I was looking up and it was way down covered by spring grasses. I missed the first three but then got better at looking high and low and backtracking and checking the map also.
The big green sign on the left tells us which knooppunte ,we have arrived at. The small one lower down tells us the number of the next one that we are going to.
A windmill that rotates the top portion with the wind. Someone used to live in the top part and needed the ladder to get in.
These boys posed for me at a tree nursery (boom =tree, wekerij =working place)
This area had many bush nurseries.
They also export many of these.
Rietveld 2-from 1648
Our lunch spot
This cow was right beside the bikepath under the trees and he was covered  with blossoms.
My rating for myself as to the knooppunten was C+ but Tante Betty thought that I did better. It was an enjoyable day! Thank you!
