I made the BIG mistake of turning off my phone to save battery. When I turned it on this morning it wanted to know the pin code number for sim card. I thought I had 2 sim cards and was reminded later that one is a memory card and the Vodafone is the sim card. I was in a PANIC! I got out my little blue book but didn't find any. I tried one but stopped when it said I only had 2 tries left. I prayed and prayed and decided to talk to my neighbour who I had only said hello to in passing.
I found out that Tjibbe Chris and Ijona and their children Geartsje and Jille are from Freisland, Netherlands. Tjibbe had a calming influence right away. I gave them my card and explained the situation. At first I thought I would have to wait 6 hours to call Canada but when he said it was the phone card I thought I could call Dick. We looked together for a proper pin to open the little box.
Then he lent me his phone and I called Dick who gave me two numbers. The number 0000 worked. WHAT A RELIEF for me. I will never turn off my phone again! I thanked them and told them they were my angels for today. They are headed to Normandy now. May God bless this Dutch family who helped me.
Today had a section that when the tide is completely out you can go over the sea part for a short cut. Alas I was too early for that and I don't know if Silver would have got too muddy.

On the map this area is all sections of land and seations of water.
Finally I arrived at Le Grand Corseau camping in Fromentine and after I set up I went for a swim in the Atlantic ocean.
There were windsurfers and kite flyers.
Many people were on the beach . The water was fairly warm but the wind was cool.
I asked a father watching his children to take my picture.
My grandchildren would have loved the waves.
A new game to make. I watched for awhile and then asked the object of the game.
They showed me the title and I took a photo of the instructions.
The water looked beautiful!
In the evening there was entertainment for the children. It looked like fun.
A big group of them were dancing.
Bocce games were going on all afternoon and evening. After my swim and shower I sat there in the sun watching and also downloading photos.
A young man was helping the younger ones to play basketball.
The ping pong table was not used.
The swimming pool was covered at night because for a week now it has been cool. I have been wearing double pants and a sweater and coat outside in the evenings. Quite a change from 36 degrees.
