Today we went on our bicycles to a beautiful area called Le Marais.
It has lots of water channels along the river.
There are islands and areas of land that people can buy to have gardens.
Everything looked healthy and colourful.

The river was filled with many flat bottomed boats and they use poles to propel them along.
This section had lots of poetry submitted by people.
It was a hot day but a little cooler here.
We talked to this man and his wife.
We had a long chat with Philippe and his family from Paris. He had lived in Detroit, Michigan and learned his English there.
