From Aurélien and Manon in Amiens to Arnaud in Le Gallet

Thank you  Aurélien and Manon for everything- the meals and bedroom and help for Paris.

May God bless you both.

A  canal in Amiens

I stopped for a snack and this police car hid between the bushes to try to catch some speeders.
Another rest and stretch stop by a cemetery

The town hall of Le Gallet.

Arnaud met me with a sunflower in hand. He is a farmer , a teacher of agriculture and marketing and a father , cook and housekeeper as well.

I had lunch and supper there prepared by Arnaud who speaks a little English.
His daughter, Lucie had her twin girl friends over.
Valentin , the son spent most of the afternoon with me practicing  his English. He is 20 and going to college for Communication this fall.
Valentin likes art and took some clay and we made these bowls. Alas when he put them into the oven to bake his own broke. I put Mary Ann and Canada on mine and gifted it to Arnaud.

The girls kept busy by painting the bedroom. They were very shy to try any English.

   My English student!
      Arnaud worked outside.

In the afternoon we went for a walk and saw his sunflower field. He also does wheat. He has about 100 hectares. We were going to go farther to see his breeding horses but it started to rain and we got soaked.
                                 By the sunflowers.

The girls worked with the clay later.

Myself, twins Léa and Julie and Lucie all of whom are 15 years old.

Valentin and myself
Thank you Arnaud for a wonderful day with your family. May God bless you and make your work easier as the years go by.
