Gabrielle and Michel

 Gabrielle and Michel's beautiful home at the top of a hill overlooking the town of Couffe.

   When I arrived Gabrielle's    friend, Monique was visiting. We enjoyed a drink together and they were amazed at my travels of the day.

     Michel who is 62 and an administrator for the area of Couffe, came home from work and did all the barbecue work for supper. I practised my zfrench with him because he does not speak much English.

The chickens enjoy the extra land the neighbours are letting them use to give them more shade.

They also have some special birds in a cage. They flutter wildly especially when they see the colour red.

     

We enjoyed a very nice meal together outside later in the evening.

Gabrielle comes from a family of 12 children who are all alive. She is the youngest and has two boys. She is in blue standing beside her father .

Her favourite hobby is sewing and when I was there she was having trouble with threading her serger.
