24. Europe Bicycle Trip--Day 6--Amsterdam-morning

Day 6 was Thursday, April 22nd,2014 and Margot volunteered to babysit Dane so that Sarah and I could go to Amsterdam again. We headed to the flea market and then to Rembrandt's house which we really enjoyed. Sarah was disappointed at the Anne Frank House because the lineup was about a mile long even with our museum cards. I had read on the internet that near there were a tulip museum and a tulip museum so we had a good time at both. Dane was very good for Margot all day. They walked to the pet area, went to the beach and both had a good nap. Thank you Margot!
These can be bought at the flea market.
Rembrandt's house

A Rembrandt masterpiece
We watched a demonstration of how paint was made. I took several videos.
On the top floor, we were able to make an ink print.(Emily has given some to Caroline and Sarah)
My masterpiece
Many of Rembrandt's ink prints were on the walls.
We walked back to the flea market and Sarah bought this touque. Then we took the tram to Anne Frank House. Thank you to all of our relatives for getting us bus cards, train tickets, and a phone for me. !!!!
Crossing one of the many canals
There is not much to see from the outside except lineups.
The lineup along the main street.....
...continued around a corner and there was no end (even with a museum card) The only people able to get ahead were those from bus tours.
