Saturday, May 8, 2010 Well, it did snow during the night but not as much as forecasted. We have decided to leave tomorrow even though it will be cold because it's not supposed to snow or rain and Sunday morning is the safest time to bicycle over the international bridge to Michigan from Ontario. After finishing packing all our panniers, we took a quick ride around the block to get used to the extra weight and width of Silver and Blackie. Then we put tarps down on the driveway to protect the cars. I cleaned the bathrooms and tidied in the house and then went to say goodbye to Matthew, Amara, Melissa and Gramma Gagnon. They made us a very nice goodbye picture frame and Mother's Day and Father's Day handmade cards. Very nice. Thank you. From there I went to Emily's and gave keys and said goodbye. I will finish the day with this blog and head for the last good sleep we may have in a while.
