Day 11, Wednesday May 19, 2010 Distance 89.68 km. Time 4 hrs.56 min. Total so far 734.18 km. When we left the Super 8, I met a group of Model A'ers at the continental breakfast. They are on their way to a show in Ohio. We beat them to the Ohio border as they did not pass us. The road conditions changed at the border with less room on the side but the traffic wasn't bad. At Liberty Center we passed the North Star Blue Scope Steel company. We crossed over the Maumee State Scenic River and turned off Hwy. 109 South. We took Hwy 110 and then Hwy 65 and reached McClure at Hwy 6. It was very busy so after a lunch stop we headed to Sandy Ridge Rd. and a series of back country roads that were like bicycle paths. Anywhere else they would have been gravel. At the end of the day we asked permission to sleep next to Mike Hendricks barn and shed.
