Day 6-Friday, May 14, 2010 Distance 81.48 km. Time 4 hrs. 57 min. Total distance 406.10 km. Roadkill 6 Crosses 4 Today we crossed the Tittabawassee River three times. All the rivers and streams in this part of Michigan are swollen over the banks. Today, the road was wet but fairly flat. We had gusty winds in the afternoon. We biked from West Branch to just past Sanford where we picked up some groceries. We are now past the Glen's and into the IGA's. We found a camping spot off the road along a grassy cut area and put the tent amid some evergreens.
