Day 8 Sunday, May 16, 2010 Distance 90.40 km. Time 5 hrs. 18 min. Total distance 595.97 km. If yesterday was very busy with garage sales, today the highways were full of motorcycles. Finally we went past a building where there were about a hundred of them in the parking lot and the sign said it was the blessing of the motorcycles. They were quite friendly all day waving at us. Anyone who wasn't on their motorcycle was at their worship meeting or cutting their grass. The yards are huge so it was mostly riding lawn mowers. We passed through Perry and had lunch at a very nice park in Stockbridge. We cycled on to Chelsea, the home of Jiffy Corn muffin mix. The town parks close at dusk so we couldn't camp there. We left town and the road deteriorated big time! Finally we found a spot by a big tower.
