Day 5 Thursday, May 13, 2010 Distance 22.72 km. Time 1 hr. 28 min. Total so far 324.62 We got all packed up today and then just as we were leaving. it started to rain. We decided to keep going to West Branch. Hwy 33 was busier today and at one point, we tried a dirt side road but it was too soft. When we arrived, it was pouring and we were cold so we got a room at the Tri Terrace Motel and have everything spread out to dry and have taken warm showers. The motel rates have been very reasonable so far--from $45 to $54.
Today I have some photos from yesterday that the children would like but I didn't get a picture of the porcupine that visited us at supper time.
