Day 1 Sunday, May 9, 2010 Distance 104.69 km Time 6 hrs 11 min. When we left it was about -2 but better than yesterday's snow. We stopped at the Gospel Hall for a photo and then made good time over the bridge because Sunday morning is the lightest travel time. We had lunch in Rudyard near some storage garages where Dave found two charms and gave them to me for Mother's Day. We had the wind on our back and pushed on hard to reach the Mackinac Bridge. The driver of the truck that took us over brought us to the outskirts of Mackinaw and it was a short ride to Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping. We were very tired!
