Thoughts about Quebec- As we leave Quebec , we have to note that this province is doing the best attempt at providing bicycle paths and edges on the road and a signage on the road to promote safe bicycling. It is the province where we saw the most people on bicycles, day use people and commuters and tourers. We enjoyed cycling from little village to little village many of which are retaining their old look but maintaining the buildings in good shape. When Hwy. 50 is completed, Hwy. 148 approaching Gatineau will be better also. I enjoyed practising my French with those we met who didn’t know much English.
My son, Matthew lives with the Gagnon family and I took photos of some of their possible extended relatives businesses.
