I arrived at 3 and knew Iris would not be home. She had said to make myself at home in the backyard so I unpacked what I would need for the evening. I did blog work. After 5 Iris came home and later Hannes we had tea together.

July 22nd, 12th day of trip 90 km to Iris and Hannes near Oldenburg
I said goodbye to Mariette at about 8:30. It would be a long ride today but with warm weather. Most of the scenery is big farms with wheat, corn, sugar beets and potatoes. It is still pretty flat so my kms. per hour is really good. I saw one big windmill and one small one, one car with the sign, Jesus lives, a lttle sanctuary, horses, statues and even Spider Man.
