During my last evening at The Kaulen's home, we looked at a lot of photos. Maren is excellent at making photo albums after all their family vacations and she has beautiful albums for each of her three children showing their growth from birth on.

| Every year there are parades of men and boys dressed in Bavarian outfits. The women get to line up along the street and watch. |

| At first, rainer did not do this but now he has decided to keep alive this part of their culture. That handsome fellow on the right is Rainer. |

| When Lukas was younger, he also participated in this event. What a handsome lad! |

| I think he looks fantastic in his outfit, but as he got older he didn't want to do it. Maybe later, when he is married and has a family of his own, he will want to keep the traditions alive. |
