I guess after burning both meat loaves last night (they were cooking outside in the little oven and I was going to turn them off before going to the singsong at the old age home) we are having pizza from a store today. Matthew, Amanda and Amara are coming by and Emily is passing through. That should be nice. I just have to charge up my electronics and make a snack and supper sandwich for tomorrow. I have heard from Carla and they will follow my plane's progress. Also Melissa, through one of her photography clients, has a contact for me in Fredericia, Denmark. That will be very nice and a place to aim for. This all proves that God answers prayer and not always right away- lessons in patience for me.

Gmail versus hotmail
I am frustrated today because my tablet seems to have two blogspot addresses. The one I want to use is on hotmail with over 200 posts and the other is on gmail and has ony 2 posts on it. It took me half an hour to get this page and I don't know if I could do it again. My main purpose was to move a photo from my phone to the tablet and I did succeed with that so now at 11:16 I can go to bed.

Packing
I spent two days getting Silver packed into her box properly, that is racks off, bottle cages off, pedals off, seat post off, handlebar off and turned to top bar, front tire off and then everything well padded and zip tied together. The box is full and just under the 70 pounds allowed. My suitcase is also almost ready to close up. I have been training on my mountain bike.

Silver is on a diet. She is getting lighter every day.
Last night I started taking things off Silver. First the two water bottle cages. Then the back rack. I was worried about taking off the front rack but the lock tightener loosened well and I could reach all the bolts. I took photos of everything. It will be much harder to put it back on.
Today, I tried to take the pedals off. I followed the instructions from a You Tube video and it worked great. I kept the pedals on and cycled to Velorution to ask about the gear rub in the middle chain. They said to bring it in later . I went home and unpacked the panniers and brought the bike later. It was an extremely HOT day so I didn't do more exercise but had tea with Lucy. I was disappointed when the bicycle wasn't ready by closing time. In the evening I played piano at Maple View before the singsong and later checked Matthew's vehicle size to see if the bicycle, suitcase and Julia will fit in his vehicle for the airport run.

End of Kayaking -Dave needs the car
I enjoyed my 4 days of kayaking-4 different locations and all close to home. I have also biked the last two days. Now I have to get the car ready for Dave to pick up Kate, Isabelle and Julia.

Tired of bicycling or adjusting to hot weather
The last few days I have been riding every day 50 - 66 km. But all of a sudden the weather has turned very hot and I guess I am not used to it.

Practise Riding every day
Every day I go riding. One day I do a very long ride and the next day I swim in the morning and do a shorter ride in the afternoon.
